5 weeks post-op and feeling great!  I am determined to get involved with the support group at Baylor and keep my journey going in a new direction.  Don't want to fall back into old habits!  The clothes are getting "alot" bigger and people are beginning to notice and that is great!  Someone asked me the other day "would you do it again" - "ABSOLUTELY!"  was my answer.  It is not easy and I don't suppose it will be until I build all new habits, but yes - I would do this again in a second!  Good Luck to everyone having surgery in the coming days!

Well, it has been a whirlwind!  I can't believe I finally had my surgery and everything went perfect.  I'm recovering very well and am pretty much back to normal.  Doing laundry and all that stuff!  ha!  For any of you that have surgery coming up this month - good luck and I would love to hear about your progress.

I got my letter today!!!  My surgery will be scheduled on Monday or Tuesday next week.  It is finally becoming a reality after beginning this process last November. I'm so excited but now as I read the letter, I'm getting a little nervous.  I want to be a good patient and I want to do whatever I need to so my surgery will go smoothly...any advice???
