Linda; I know your angels were at work, watching over you and getting you the help you needed. What an ordeal you have been through!! Hi, I just want to say, "Thank You", to all of you that sent your well wishes to me, while I was back in the hospital. For those of you that didn't know, I was in critical condition in the CCU at Medical City Dallas, for several days. It seemed I had/have an ulcer now, but on May 16, I began vomiting blood and passing blood. Within 45 mins, I had lost almost 3 pints of blood. I was in route to the hospital because of some pain I had in my incision. < I live 3 hours from the hospital>. About 45 mins into the trip, I began the constant vomiting of blood. After about 20 more mins, I stopped at a service station as I needed to "go". That was as far as I got, an ambulance came and got me, and stablized me in Hillsboro, before transporting me to Dallas. Needless to say it was an ordeal. I had an endoscopy, and was told I had an arterial bleed as well as the ulcer in my stomache. I am home and doing fine now, just a bit week. And told I better be a "compliant" person now, not that I wasn't before. There is some good news. Today, I am one month post op, and have lost 63 pounds. I still do not regret having the surgery, and am very positve about the future. HUGS to you all.. Linda

Hey Linda, I've been missing you. I did not know you were back in the hospital. I pray every thing is ok. You were such an inspiration to me on the day you had your sugery. You wer so energetic right after you returned to your room. Gave me hope for when I had mine. Girl let me tell you, I did not act like you did. I thought I was dying but of course I am a sissy. I am home!!!!! WooHoo... Everything went great, better than I would have ever expected. I can eat just about anything. Not that I will. A little on the slow side, but give me a week. I really appriciate all of the support you all have given me. A new road is ahead. Take Care, and God Bless ya'll!!!

Linda had her surgery Tuesday the 29th. She did so well the Dr. didn't even put her into icu. she was up and walking about 6 hours after the surgery and hasn't slowed down since! She had brotha dn juice and jello today and is doing wonderful!! She should be able to leave the hospital Sat. or Sunday. Thank you so much for all your prayers and well wishes!
