Hi Gwen,
I just read your post about your mom passing shortly after her 40th birthday, and it struck a chord with me, since my 40th is in two weeks. I thank God that I was able to have my surgery, and be successful. I know I still have to watch things closely, and do what it takes to be healthy, but I really feel that would have been me too.
I wanted to wish you all the best on your consultation tomorrow, and I hope you get all the answers you need, and desires of your heart met.
PS-I'm totally into scrapbooking too, and I love your dust if you must poem at the end of your profile. I heard this at a women of faith seminar too.
Thanks
As you take your journey to the inner, and thinner you, remember:
The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
For I am the LORD, you God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13
Don't tell GOD how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your GOD is!
Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
I have heard your prayers, I have seen your tears. Surely, I will heal you. 2 Kings 20:5
I'm hoping you have a successful surgery, a rapid recovery, and much success in your weight loss journey.
