Update June 14th...

Well I haven't been on here that much anymore and I finally took some new pics to show the difference of then and now. I started at 218 lbs and as of now 6/14/10 I am 4 days away from being 4 months post-op and 168 lbs (down 50 lbs). I can't even remember being that weight in my life... Pre-op I was wearing a size14/16 depending on the amount of strech in pants and a 1X in tops. Now I am in size 10/12 pants and size Medium in tops. I am anxious to see how I will look when I am a yr posy-op because I look so different in only 4 months. I only have another 30-40 lbs I want to lose and I'm pretty sure I'll get to my goal way before the yr is up.

Update and Changes in standards...

Okay so the update is I am now at 192 lbs with a total loss of 26 lbs so far...
Now for the changes I have been concerned about after WLS...
I don't know if it is normal or not but here goes... I have been back and forth with my ex ever since we broke up 9 months ago (long story but he always plays games and I get fed up and end seeing him) when this happens I start trying to move on and before WLS dating was fine, but now I notice that I am getting stuck up and my standards have changed. The other day I went on a date with someone who was the type of men I would normally date pre-wls but now my confidence is a bit higher and I thought the whole time I wasn't interested (when usually I would be). I feel bad because I get hit on a lot more but they are by the type I use to date who wouldn't hit on me as much then and I am a bit stuck up towards them now when I use to not be. I don't know if this is normal so my question is to everyone who was single after WLS did you feel the same did your standards and type change? I am trying to stay humble but it's hard when my confidence has increased.

Came home today...

Well I had my surgery on 2/18 and was able to come home today. The first day after surgery was hard and painful but I am doing better today (just having some gas pain). I don't have much energy yet so I will keep this short. My post-op appointment is on Tues and I will try to keep my page up to date and let everyone know how my progress is going.

The night before...

Yesterday I started my liquid diet I had a major headache all day 
but I got through it. Today I went to pre-register at the Hospital and do a blood test and a chest x-ray. Right now I am drinking the magnesium citrate 
lol (yuck) 
and getting things ready for the tomorrow morning. I will be going into to surgery at 7:30 am starting to get a little nervous 
but more excited than anything right now! 
I also took a lot of before pictures tonight and will post them maybe in a month when I can take some picture after I lose enough to see the difference.
