8/13/05 I am just learning how to navigate this website :-) I am awaiting my surgery date which is 10 days away! I am very excited and definitely nervous. not about the surgery exactly but about after. I am not sure if it is the not knowing anxiety or what. One of my biggest fears is that my husband is not as informed as I think he should be, it might be because he doesn't ask any questions - he listens to what I tell him but that is about it. He says he supports me but I just don't feel he is really there all the way. He will be going to my pre-op visit with me on Tue. so maybe that will help with his knowledge base, and he will have more questions. I hope so. I know I have been blessed with a very supportive family! I haven't had any negative comments from anyone in my family. Will post more after my pre-op visit.
8-17-05 Well I think I was just being nervous because my husband has come thru like a trooper, he went to my pre-op and had to have been bored for the most part but stayed and didn't complain. I have to say I think he is "DaBomb" !!!!!
Well everything went well and I know I am @ 6 days till surgery!
8-21-05 WOW 2 days till my surgery and I am so excited! A little nervous, but so can't wait! Till later.......
8-23-05 I was so nervous before surgery but everything went great didn't have any problems other than waiting till the tube came out- was watching the clock for that! I didn't have much pain at all.
8/26/05 Well I am 3 days post op and wow I am so bloated can't wait for that feeling to pass. Well I wanted to add before pictures to my profile so now I am going to go walk.

6-27-07 Heck it has been awhile since I have been on, now I know it doesn't look like I was on at all, but I am just not a blogger I guess I used to go to the messages ALL the time but that went by the way side too after about a year and a half I have to say I am at about 18 months and I still think that this was the best damn decision of my life!!
