YAY 2 days post-op

Hey yall..im finally home..im 2 days post op and feel freakin fantastic!!!! I actually feel like i havent even had surgery! Now i know all surgeries are different and some people may not feel this great, so i dont want to mis inform anyone or send a false hope. But im feeling fantabulous. I left for the hospital at 430am, was there by 515am. I was sent straight back to get changed into my gown and whatnot, and wasnt long after that i was sent upstairs to have my IVS hooked up and my "calming" medicine, and then the nxt thing i know im being wheeled back into the surgery room. I remember rolling from the transport bed to the surgery table, and then next thing i know im being wheeled to my room. My husband and best friend said they saw me in the recovery room and that i was getting mad at the nurse but i honestly dont remember that!! LOL Oopps sorry nurse! Anyways, first night was a lil rough, i got up at 4pm n started walking around, BTW WALK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BC ITLL RELEASE THE BUILT UP GAS AND YOULL FEEL SOOO MUCH BETTER!and by the next day i was off morphine which i didnt use much of bc it made me feel nauses. So after that first day i had no pain meds. Did alot of walking, took a shower, that felt good, and walked some more n laid back n watched tv. Then today came and i was soooo ready to come home, the nurses were wonderful and took good care of me, however theres no comfort like the comfort in your own home. And so as soon as she said Discharge i was up n taking a shower n puttin on my makeup and gettin dressed to come home. Now im home and i feel wonderful! REMEMBER sip sip sip and walk walk walk walk!!!!! I cant wait to update yall after my 2wk appt, which is April 21st! Thank you for the prayers and support yall.
