Slacked off but family helped get me back on track

I slacked this weekend. I ate somethings that were off of my meal plan. I did not eat everything in the kitchen but my Grandmother had a birthday party and it was hard for me to eat the meals on my plan. Small victory for me was that I ate small portions and no fried food. I ate two servings of pasta. But that was okay. I also ate some fast food. But not my normal super sized meal. I am still on track no weight gain . But no weight loss either . Still taking it one step at a time and no condemnation.

Craving for Pizza

Ok so yesterday I had a craving for pizza. So I stopped by and had one slice of pizza for dinner. I am proud of myself I did not over indulge in pizza I only had one slice. I tracked it and kept it moving.

On my journey to a new life.

I decide that by any means necessary I will become fit. I went to a consultation on 2/2/11 and I was looking at having lap band surgery. The doctor basically told me that I was too heavy for lap band to have the desired results (A little depressing). He let me know that RNY Gastric Bypass was what I would need to have. I have been a little scared to have the surgery. I know my journey will be different than anyone elses so I have to be willing to deal with any side effects. I have to wait six months before I could even think about taking that type of time off work. So since I need to have a journal of my efforts to lose weight. I am starting now. I have to eat healthy even if I do have the surgery. So I joined a weight loss clinc to help assist me in lossing the weight and so far I am enjoying it. Surprisingly I have been eating more food to boost my metablism and it is working out ok. I have lost 12 Ibs so far. If I stay on program then in six months I should be 240 Ibs. I am taking it one week at a time. Two weeks down 18 more to go.
