Sarah's Angel Reporting in: I spoke with Sarah on the phone Wednesday night. She sounded good and said her surgery went well. She said they may discharge her on Thursday, Thanksgiving day if all continues to go well. I'll check in with her over the weekend.

(apologies if this comment posts more than once, but the site is giving me error messages) I am sorry that you have experienced so much trouble. Although I am not an RNY patient, I had a thought: Has your surgeon looked into the possibility that you have an enlarged stoma? I have read on this site about some people whose pouch stoma stretched out and therefore the food didn't stay in the pouch long enough to keep them full. Just a thought, since staple line disruption isn't always the culprit. I hope you get some answers on what's going on. Good luck.
