Okay, since I started this whole wt loss sugery dream in 1985 with a vertical banded gastroplasty which was revised to a gastric bypass in 2000 and then to a more extended bypass in 2004.  This along with having twin daughters in 1988 and a son in 1991 and two c-sections.  After the last two wt. surgeries even after the greenfield filter was inserted I still expierienced a pulminary embolis.  I have been down a very long road with wt loss but I am happy to say that now I have lost down to about 300 pds.  I have been seeing a plastic surgeon for the past six months.  I am in need so badly of a panniculectomy.  It is a serious stage five pannus hanging to my knees.  I have lost a lot of wieght and muscle tone.  There is so much more I have been thru but telling it all would be like writing a novel.  I am extremely happy with Dr. Krieger of Fairfax, Va who I am happy to say will be doing my panniculectomy on August 10, 2009.  I still have wt. to lose however Dr. Krieger says this pannus is problely 70 pds alone.  Hopefully my goal is to get it off and just wear normal sized clothes, walk down my driveway, be able to walk upstairs, walk around the walmart instead of using the little carts.  I have learned to appreciate the simple things that most people take for granted.  My doctor says once this is over and more wt. loss occurs then I will have to have some more tucked up down the road.  So much on me just hangs.  I look like a michelin tire man deflated!  Eventually I would like my arms and thighs done.  I have some road to go but I need to have all this done.  I appreciate all the support and support from this site. It has been a valuable aid to me over the years.  Please pray for me and think of me in August.  Thanks!
