Well as of today my surgery is 22 days out. Since that's my lucky number I thought I'd start my count down here...I'm excited and nervous and scared. I hope that in a year from now I'm reading this thinking that I could have never know how this decision would have affected my life ( for the better).One of my coworkers who is becoming a really good friend has kind of been a little hesitant around the whole WLS thing, not to be mean but I think she is truly concerned. Well I'm happy to report that through this website and some long coversations she has decided to look into the Lapband for herself. She also has a large amount of weight to lose and wants to better herself for her son. I totally respect her decision and wish her the best. Again I hope to see positive changes in her in a years time from now. I hope that she finds the same support that I have.
