Right now I'm at 160lbs.  I still walk and workout. I think I may be expecting....but I'm not quite sure yet! I'm kinda exciting about that.

Wow it's been almost a year since I've updated my page on here. Well as my title says I'm down to 148!!! I'm still losing. It never really seemed like I was losing to myself...sometimes I still pick up 10s 11s or 12s when I'm wearing an 8! My shoe size has come fro a 8 1/2 to a 7. I feel so good! I don't ind telling people about my journey, they ask I tell. I've heard so many different off the wall questions as to how I lost so quick...Am I sick? Do I have AIDS? Am I stressing....people are curious/crazy! lol I hope all is well, maybe I'll start back being a regular on the site. One thing I have learned is to don't just exist in this world, you gotta live! I'm living life to the best of my ability.

It's been a long time since I've been on ObseityHelp.com.  It's been 5 almost 6 months since my surgery.  I started at 238 I believe and now I'm 166.  My goal is 140, I'm very close to reaching my goal...very! I'm looking great, feeling great, doing great! I wish the same for everyone else.

I'm 2 months out from my surgery and have mixed feelings about everything.  I just told my momma today about how fustrated I get.  NOTHING fits! My tights are even getting too big. I had planned to buy new ones with my school refund check, but I wasn't able to return to school due to my surgery.  For the moment I'm just working. I recently moved in my own apartment...well I have a room mate!  I make sure to keep our foods separate so that I am not tempted to eat the wrong things.  At times I know I am cocky! I say Dr. Lavin has created a monster,  my self esteem has sky rocketed.  I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to better my health. Well I'm done for the moment.

Sooooo since my surgery I've lost 15lbs (to my knowledge). I have another appointment...tomorrow!  I feel the weight loss already, and it's only been two weeks now.  I've liked Miley Cyrus clothes at wal-mart since the line came out. YES I said Walmart! Her clothes are very cute. But everytime I would purchase a shirt or tights...I would end up taking them back, because they LOOKED like they would fit...but didn't. Tonight me and my momma was in walmart, and I was telling her I needed something to wear saturday to this QUE dog party. We saw this cute PURPLE shirt and I picked it up. She said the shirt looked too big, I brought it anyway. I got home, tried it on...and what do you know IT FIT! This chick clothes have never fit me! I couldn't even get it over my head good to know it didn't fit. This time it fit. I brought some sweat pants that also fit over the donk! Can you say happy! I'm very excited. The only downside is that my clothes I had are falling off. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to all the 1 million pieces of clothes and shoes that I have! Oh well, school refund check is coming soon...can someone say SHOPPING SPREE!  Other than that, I've been doing great with my new tummy! I follow all the rules. Yay me!

I'm sitting up in my hospital bed...not hurting but scratching around the incisions!  I hope to go home tomorrow since I had no problems...well the only problem I am having is breathing. The nurse came in to give me a breathing treatment. Well I'm tired so I think I'll try to rest now. Good Night OH!

My surgery day is quickly approaching. I am so excited! Up until about a few days ago, only a few people knew about my surgery. Some I had told about but after hearing " you don't need that" and " why would you want to do that?" and " all you need to do is..."etc. I never mentioned anything else about it! I feel like I don't need your approval. Those who would say something like that, I ask them " don't you want me to be around for a while?" I don't want to be 50 or 60 something with grandchildren I can't play with because I get out of breathe easily! I want to not play with them because of something that comes with age! This is not something I just woke up yesterday and said i want to have, I have going through this process for a year now. I know what to I'm not doing this for the look... I'm doing it for my health, my future. I'm 22 with Type 2 diabetes, back problems, hurting knees, poly cystic ovarian disease...all due to me being overweight.  So in a week I'll be saying goodbye to an unhealthy life, and saying hello to a new me!

This morning I got off from work at 5:30, I had a final exam at 10  so I didn't want to go home and go to sleep. I went to wal-mart to keep myself up...that didn't work. When I got home I went straight for the bed! I haven't slept the last few days, because I lost a dear friend of mine Wed and haven't been able to sleep.  I ended up missing my exam, and the call from my surgeon's office! Thank goodness they have my mother's number. She ran in my room to wake me up.  It was Beth calling to tell me I had been approved by the insurance and to tell me the time and dates for my appointments. I'm just too excited!

I've been waiting for about a month now...probably longer to hear from the insurance company.  I'm at a stand still of weight loss...I've 222 for a while now, which I knew was going to happen.  I plan on having my surgery while I'm on my winter break from school, so that I can return in the Spring without being sore. I have a feeling they are going to either deny the request or approve it and schedule me for my birthday!

It is such a coincidence that this morning the lady who schedules the psych evaluation called this morning. I had been trying to get in touch with her for MONTHS, literally!  Now I have two appointments! It's crazy.
