"One Month Out"

It's been 1 month since my surgery, and I'm glad to have it behind me!! I don't know what I thought it was going to be like, but I wasn't quite prepared! I'm feeling better and go back to work in 2 weeks. I saw Dr. Lindsay this week and she was pleased with me. I've lost 42 lbs since I first saw her in mid December.
I can tell a difference in how my clothes fit, but I can't really see any changes. My friends say they can tell I'm losing, so I'll have to take their word for it! I know I have a long way to go to reach my goal, but I'm starting to feel encouraged. I've had this extra weight for so many years now, that I can't imagine finally losing it and getting back where I used to be. I guess I'll just keep trying my best and have faith. What else is there to do?!!
