"I actually first met with Dr. Harrington when my husband was getting prepared for hissurgery. I wasn't even considering it for my self til after he was done. Dr. Harrington is extremely thorough, and very honest. He has a great reputation. His nurse practitioner Helen Mi is fantastic, and attends the support group each month. Dr. Harrington requires many many tests to be performed to make sure you are a good, healthy candidate for the surgery. I find this to be reassuring because he wants to make sure all the bases are covered. He made sure to emphasize that the surgery is a tool, and not a cure. Some people would like to see Dr. Harrington at the surpport group. I agree, but I understand he is the head of trauma, and her just might not be able to fit it in! Besides..I'd personally rather he just coninues to do what he does, and not change a thing, because he is extremely surgically competent!"
