Very long story - short; I went to Dr. Patel originally, but my insurance would not pay for him. So, I had only one other choice for a surgeon. I went and met him, didn't like him but figured he was all I was going to get so make the best of it. Things happend along the way until my next meeting with him. When I finally got to meet with him, he didn't like what I had to say, he turned into a total jerk and I never went back. Sorry, can't divulge who that was. After a period of time and at the suggestion of my PCP; I went back to Dr. Patel. Turns out he is working towards getting on my insurance, and I am praying they let me have him for my surgeon. I know they will. Positive.
So, I am on my 3rd week of pre-op and Friday I go for another weigh-in; I have to lose 25 or more pounds.
