Update

Aug 07, 2013

Wow its been 4 months since surgery already! I can't believe it. I am currently down 75 lbs and feel amazing. Mind you this has not been easy and there have been hard days but I am so glad I took this step in the right direction.

Since I have PCOS my weight loss has slow quit a bit and it has become a struggle some days. I feel like I am still loosing inches even if I am not loosing pounds. It may be my body's way of playing catch up before it starts to drop some more weight.

Over all I feel wonderful!

One day at a time

Apr 06, 2013

Surgery was 5 days ago and I have to say I am feeling decent. Only complaint I have is the JP drain as I feel it restricts my movements a little and I am afraid to do much.

I am still in shock of the fact that I actually took this step to a better me and don't really believe I did just have  VSG. I am not sure it will really kick in till a few mo ths down the rd and I see the weight loss.  It's almost all surreal at this point still.

Emotions are still heightened from the fiasco of my parents finding out before surgery and my internal battle of am I making the right choice. In the end I did make he right choice for my future and I will realize it soon enough.

Just a short blog today as I need to try and sleep still.
