Hi Everyone,
I am six months out as of yesterday.  I have just hit the 80 lb weight loss point and I couldn't be happier.  I have 25 lbs to go till I reach my goal.  I couldn't be happier...it has changed my life in every positive possible way.  I am so happy that I did this.  My husband did too, and we have done this together.  We had our RNY done two weeks apart.
I wish all of you the best of luck.  At times it may not be easy, but hang in there...the rewards of better health is well worth  it.

Hi everyone,
Sorry that I haven't been on here in some time.  Life happens and we get busy.  Hoping to do better with posting.  I hope everyone is doing great.  I am now 6 months post RNY, down to 149 lbs from 228.  Down many clothing sizes from 24 to 14 now.  I have to say this RNY is the best thing that I have ever done.  I still have ups and downs with my weight...trying to stay away from the scale except for weighing every two weeks or so.  I can't believe I can now wear zip up jeans...never before in my whole life could I do that.  It was always knit stretch or spandex.  My family and I just came back from a cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.  I was not ashamed this time to wear a bathing suit in public.  This surgery has done so many positive things for me.  I hope it has for all of you too.

Hi everyone,
Well I am ten weeks post-op and today I hit 173.  Pre-op weight was 226.  I have also lost 27 inches.  I am very pleased so far.  The RNY saved my life I know.  Walking everyday and waiting for clearance from surgeon to start weight bearing and cardio exercises at the gym.

Hi all,
Well I am two weeks post-op. Had a mild leak.  In hospital for five days.  Had first post-op visit yesterday.  Second blue test all clear.  So I am on clear liquids for two more days, then on to full liquids.  I am feeling stronger every day and still so very glad I had the RNY.

My husband had his RNY today.  Slept alot of the day, but up this evening walking.  Hoping to go home to the hospital tomorrow.
