CHECKING IN.....
Aug 29, 2014
Over the last 12 years I have lost & I have gained. The last year & a half & have been the worst because I'm up 35lbs from my "no fatter than this" weight. I wasn't allowed to get my heart rate up because of anemia and I just took that as a free for all instead of being careful about my eating.
6 weeks ago I has a hysterectomy. My doctors & I worked really hard to get my blood count up prior to surgery and it has only been getting better ever since. I've logged 7 walking miles this week alone and am on track to walk a half marathon in 7 weeks. I've started tracking my food again with iBites on my iPhone (love that app). I've lost 7lbs this week and have a renewed motivation.
The surgery is not a magic pill. Keeping the weight off for the rest of my life will require concentration and hard work but I'm OK with that.
