12/18/2006---I am 10 days short of a year of joining this group on 12/28/2005. I am still learning about surgery but now I am doing the footwork. I think I have thought about it and prayed about it long enough. I am ready to get on with it.
I have my information session scheduled for Dr. Von Rueden's on 1/24/2006
1/29/2007---went to my information session on 1/24. My husband went with me. He was still not excited after the session. I think he might be coming around though. I should hear today or soon after from the doctor's office about an appointment for my first consultation..
2/14/07---had my consult with DVR. started my 6 month supervised diet. husband went with me. he is seemingly ok with the surgery now. he ask the doc questions that he wanted answers to. so, I'm on my way.
2/20/07---1 week on supervised diet. not doing so good. I am adding exercise today with walking up stairs a few times here at work. hoping that will help.
