Nothing taste as good as skinny feels- 5 Months Post Op

May 23, 2012

These last 5 months have blown by. The weight is just melting off. I cannot believe I have lost 150lbs in 5 months. I am working the plan as outlined, not deviating from it other than a Crown Royal on the rocks once in a while. The compliments keep coming, the pants and shirt size keeps going down, and I feel better than I have in 20 years. All I can say for all considering the journey, do it! I know I don't post allot but I do read many post. They have inspired me and have kept me doing the right thing, which is getting healthy. Stay positive, keep focused, and remember always that nothing taste as good as skinny feels. Nothing but respect.

3 months post op and 113lbs gone!

Mar 11, 2012

3 months and 113lbs, unbelievable!! I went from a size 52 to a size 40. I'm doing everything by the book with no deviations. My goal is 180lbs weight loss. If I weren't living this I would not believe it. I'll have to figure out how to upload a picture to a post.

Surgery Date

Nov 28, 2011

11-28-11
I went to see the surgeon for the first time at the end of October 2011. Within 4 weeks, and after going to do my lab work and other required testing, I had a surgery date of December 14th. My insurance company; Keystone Health Plan East was quick to approve the surgery. I was very shocked that it didn't take much time at all. I am anxious and nervous all at the same time. the unknown is what is getting to me. I know I need to relax and think of this as a positive thing. Being 365lbs is not easy, and I want to lose most of that weight so that I can be healthy.
