 Well, it's been a long tough journey, but I'm finally starting to see the light. I'm able to eat solid foods now and so far so good. I'm now down to 268 which is amazing!!!! I can't remember the last time I weight that much.  I'm thankful to the surgeon, and it's assistance in my new life.

 Hello Everyone, 

So, I had my surgery and everything went great. I have not had a single problem as of yet. I'm pretty much following the diets that was provided to me and so far so good.  I want to say that Dr Patching is a great surgeon and I thank him for my new life.  

YaY!!!! I have a date for weight loss surgery. I'm so excicted. I'm hoping all goes well. The date of my surgery is 09-24-2008

So I went to have my UGI done last friday. It was very easy. I thought it was going to involved more. Here is the following. I have my second nutritionist eval in july and my psych eval July 9th. I hope after all this I get my surgery date soon. School i getting closer, and I need to be extremely focus. I will be working on my teaching credentials and Masters program.

Very busy week, I have gone to see my Nutritionist, and now schedule for my UGI this coming friday. I'm getting more and more excited about how closer it is getting for my surgery. I just can't wait.

Ok, I saw my surgeon today and he ask me the big questions. What type of surgery do I want. I'm not sure what procedure I want to do. I have weigh the pros and cons in both types of surgeries, but I still have not made up my mind. I wish this could be simpler. In another note. I have couple of test lined up next week, and I have my psych eval.

I went to my group orientation with Dr Patching he is the Dr that is going to do my surgery. I'm not to sure what to think at this point. I left feeling that maybe he is not the best surgeon. I have a one on one schedule on June 12th I'll see how that goes.

Ok, so I have my referral approve to see the surgeon on June 10. I'm getting super excited and can't wait. Next week I go to my first support group meeting that is conducted by the surgeon. I'm hoping I can have my Lap Band surgery before the next school year begins..

I went to my Dr. Today trying to get my referral to see the surgeon. He said he would write a letter for me to submit to the Anthem. I'm hoping this would push my referral through.
