I finally broke 80lbs. Im getting my pain under control so I hope to get walking more. I should be further along but 80lbs is 80lbs gone!! I feel great. I can walk and go places I couldnt before. Im enjoying this for sure.

Over 70lbs lost. I'm working toward my 1st 100lb lost. I am 1/3 of the way to my final goal weight.

I Have had some setbacks due to pain and also had to have 2 stretching done but I feel good!! I'm back into my clothes with room to spare in them. I have actually been able to fit into 2x's, down from 5x at my surgery date. I hope to get into the pools regularly real soon. My swim suit isn't strangling me anymore LOL. I need a walking partner if anyone will help me out please contact me. I live in Lafayette on the south side near 350 south. Someone come walk with me!! PLEASE!!

It has been 23 days with 29lbs gone. And I feel great!! MI have been able to walk many days lately. I walk with my cane in and out of the doctors office on Mondays to get a weight update and the nurse says i look better each week i come in. Today I did walk w/o my cane and left my wheelchair at home while i drove to Indianapolis. I havent done that in years. I feel i have my life back and am grateful to the insurance company, my doctors and nurse family and God for giving the doctors knowledge and skills to do such a tremendous thing to save people lives.  I will be posting clothes here for sale as I loose.

this time it must happen for me, for us. Its a family journey we share, one of the pact getting her life back. holding on to dreams of self realization once and for evermore. Lets all do it together.thats family support!!
It is Thursday morning 12:56 am. and i think ill be sleeping tonight quite well Only two more wake-ups and my life resumes.

its been a long time past since i started thiswls journey. Over 3 years and now i am within 3 weeks of my surgery date. I am a little scared but joyful at the same time. I would like to feel I have more support but it is what it is.

good morning oh family. I'm feeling GOOD today. started out with a wake up at 5:30 restroom break and back to sleep. a fellow minister and BFF called as AI asked her to see if Id go out into my ministry but due to mother nature i had to decline. I had surgery for fibroid in my womb but obviously have not had results we hoped for Hooray for womanhood NOT really cause i have the most beautiful family my almost 2 year old granddaughter is beginning to read and we sing together. i think she is a natural mimic even hitting high notes. we have a ball singing nursery rhymes will jazz hands and all!!  I'm starting to track my food intake and activity. this site had come a long way since i started in2008. i used another site for tracking but now will commit to oh full time.
its early and I've played a little with my grand-baby. i presented her a princess vanity and she,s a diva already. i encourage it in her LOL. she insisted on painting her own nails last evening-what a gorgeous MESS.  She painted a nice picture for us . Well I hope you all are having good weekends long ones for some. im trying to post a profile pic but can't seem to as yet. if anyone wants to friend me at facebook my name is mia millbrooks. peace to all.

it has been almost two years since i didnt havmy surgery. i had some major lifestyle issues that im doing well with my recovery from. Ive had to do everything a second time and im a nervius wreck. my health has gone steadily down hill. im weighing around 370lbs again!! another starvation diet, illness, Im homebound. I never think i can get more depressed but last week i almost gave up. im just tired and in pain and Fat  LAMS-laugh at myself!! I have been watching youtube  videos of others WLS journeys and have felt 100% better.
I didnt intend to get on here negative please forgive i need to vent to people who understand. i get constant negative harsh critism from family and it takes a lot out of me. But Im a fighter if nothing else so I say toH--- with THE NEGATIVE PEOPLE
IVE HEARD IT 35 years so what another few months. i just wish they understood that they are 99% of why Im in the shape im in. i want to get a forum about some issues in the obese community here in my town. and i hope you all will help me with that.  Id love if someone wold mentor me this round!! I am fighting for my life and you all know what I mean.

i didnt have surgery. Im on it again about half way through the process to have rny. it will happen this time iver reached about 380 5'3'

I was'nt able to have surgery in september due to bacteria in my stomach. I have finished antibiotics and hope to have surgery in December 2008. I've become a grandma and want to be around to see this beautiful baby girl grow up. I will be attending several support groups. Anyone who would like to correspond please feel free to do so.
