"My first impression of Dr. R was that he seemed to be very professional and kind. He explained to me everything about the surgery and what it entails and wanted to be sure that I understood enough to be able to make a decision. I felt comfortable with him right away. His staff were all really nice and helpful and seemed to genuinely care about my situation. They are located in a brand new building that seemed great for what they need. The waiting room is full of x-large chairs for even very large people.
I asked Dr. R a whole list of questions and he was extremely patient as we worked our way down the list. After care is a BIG issue with Dr. R and I even had to sign a contractual agreement stating that I will attend my afterdare appointments, etc.
Over all I would say that Dr. Sidney Rohrscheib (SP?) is a great choice for me. I think that a combination of competence and bedside manner make a complete package. I think Dr. R seemed to have both of these qualities. These are my assumptions after the first meeting....I will update after surgery.
