I am home and getting better every day. Still a bit much to spend any time on the computer to tell my whole experience, but I will get that up soon.

Gloria came through surgery with flying colors! She initially had all the usual tubes. Because she was still intubated, she did go to ICU for the first day. Today she was transferred to a regular room, and even walked to her new room. Her NG tube has been removed. She's doing well with clear liquids. Her pain is fairly well controlled with her PCA. Her catheter should be discontinued tomorrow. She looked good today, she was alert, and her humor shined through! She wants everyone to know she is doing fine and appreciates all the prayers...and she's already anxious to go home!
