Todd McCarty
"I initially have met Dr McCarty at the Baylor WLS Seminar in Aug02. I'm very satisfied with his demeanor and his forthrightness. What I noticed is that he and all of the staff at the center really pay attention to your needs. Even at the seminar I observed the staff looking people in the eye, listening to their questions with patience and not patronizing anyone. There is a very highly structured aftercare program as well as an active support group. What I like best about Dr McCarty is I've determined he is considered to be an excellent surgeon and he has done variations of the RNY procedure for several years now. He has done in the hundreds of procedures and that is important to me. I also respect his being very forthright with his patients, even online regarding the fact that this surgery is not a cure all and major behavior modifications must be made by the patient for this tool to help in your recovery from morbid obesity. I'm going to rate Dr McCarty so far as excellent overall, his patients are absolutely gaga over him. I'm not really into that type of hero worship, so I'm going to probably be more reserved in my opinion of Dr McCarty than others. That doesn't mean that I'm not very very happy that I have been able to be scheduled for surgery with him"
