This afternoon I got up my nerve to call Dr. Birkedal's office to ask about coming in a talk to him about WLS.  To my surprise, he answered the phone!  I guess is was late and no one else was around.  Anyway, he told me to come in on Monday, 2/6 to discuss it further.  I am a former patient of his, so he knew who I was since he repaired my hernia 3 years ago and did a great job.

Today at lunch one of the local hospitals was having a lecture series and the topic was WLS.  I went to hear what Dr. Birkedal had to say about it.  He was most impressive and informative.
