my husband has been approved for surgery and he has a date of 12/12. he is sharing my spot here at amos. i would appreciate any words of encouragement for him. he is 60 yrs old and dr simper in salt lake city is doing his surgery. i got so much support when i had my surgery in 02 and continue to get support from this site. hubby is just too shy to ask for it. patsy in las vegas

i am 9 monthes post op and have the greatest news this week... first i am no longer "obese"... just "overweight"! this is fabulous. next, i saw the dr yesterday and my blood tests shows absolutely normal blood sugars for three months...NO DIABETES! to all my fellow wls people pre or post op.... hang in there. it is hard but it is worth it. to my wonderful angel, deanna wise, thank you from the bottom of my heart. i could not have made it to this point without you. patsy in las vegas
