10/25/06 Went to cardiologist this week. Had lung scan today. If all is ok with scan he said he will clear me for surgery.Yeah 1 step down many more to go!
10/27/06 my psych eval is Nov 1 yea!
11/01 Psych eval done!! Bring on the next step.
11/02 Did my first ""angel"" with Kelli today. I hope I do as wonderful as she is doing so far. She was so excited to be on the losers bench when she woke up!!
11/07 Had seminar tonite. Was great full of info. Did all my paperwork on computer till 3 a.m., so much easier and faster that way.
11/08 Dena called today, my consult is MARCH 7,2007. Yeah!! I do hope that I don't have to wait that long for my surgery date after the consult, but oh well at least I am starting on a roll.
11/22 Terrible news today. One of our own Marilyn Alvarez, surgery date 11/20 passed away today on her way home. She is truly going to be missed. God bless Marilyns family and husband Tom. My prayers are with you.
12/01 Today is Kat's day and she well deserves it!! Her and her husband Travis arrived at my home late last nite in the OFFICIAL BLIZZARD OF 2006. They were up at 3am and out of drive at 4am. took about 1 1/2 hours or 2 to get to hospital ( a 25 minute drive) and they waited for the staff to make it so surgery was late. She is doing great. I hope to see her before she leaves but I am snowed in!! If not I wish her all the best.
12/07 Saw Kat today at Dr. H's office. She looks great! Also got to meet Gretta Lake. I didn't know but I had seen her all summer. Had a nice visit. To ER pain right knee very painful to walk. Gave me pain meds and sent me home.
12/13 Dr. H's office called. My consult has been moved up to January 3rd!!! Yipee Maybe I will get WLS before my birthday in May, I hope and pray.
12/14 To ER felt liked my right knee exploded! Couldn't walk. Now have to see an ortho and have an MRI.Might have been my Baker's cyst rupturing.

01/03 Saw Dr. Hornbostel, everything ok for surgery go ahead.

01/11 Congrats to Gretta on her surgery today! She did great.
02/27 Saw Dr. Kane today. Will put off surgery and recheck in 4 months.
02/28 Marg called from Dr H. My pre-op testing is the 19th of March. I also have to have a scope that day. 33 days till WLS.

03/12 Met Shawn Sharp today befroe her pre-op
03/19 Pre-op day Shawn showed up to give supprot, thanks Shawn. The scope was terrble but It came out OK
4/02 Surgery Day, hard time getting IV site but sirgery went well!
4/04 Home from hospital, At litlle sore but glad to be home.
4/07 Back in hospital!!! Blood clot in neck and feel like my head exploding!!
4/09 Home again on blood thinners trying to get stronger.
June/07 having trouble with vomiting and not able to getanything but fluids down. Back to hospital for scope and dilitaion of pouch opening
7/16 down 78# keeping foods down better but trying to get over a week of N/V and upper resp. problems
9/07 Had re-union in Branson, SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Deb. D. and my granddaughters shared a cabin. Even tho it rained the whole time is was so nice to relax and enjoy our visit with everyone
10/05/07 WHOOO HOOO!!!!!!!! I STARTED AT 341# PRE-SEMINAR, 326#PRE-SURGERY AND NOW I AM 239# 101# LOSS!!!! AND I AM 6 MONTHS POST-OP
