Timothy Ehrlich

"My surgeon is quite experienced in Lap Band surgery. I was able to get an appointment easily and his staff helped me get through the pre-op protocol swiftly. His practice does set you up with everything you need to be successful. Dr. Ehlich left for vacation immediatey after my surgery (I was aware that he was leaving). His partner, Craig Floch, took over and was fantastic. When I had my breathing problem, he was right there in the ER to comfort me. Dr. Floch was in contact with the vacationing Dr. Ehrlich. If I had it to do over, I would not have surgery on the day before my surgeon is going on vacation or the day before a major holiday (Christmas). rnI continue to receive good care and attention as a post-op patient. Dr. Ehrlich is opening several new offices to accomodate his patients who have to travel long distances for appointments. I am impressed with the experience of everyone at the offices."

Norwalk Hospital (COE)

"I was there on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The staff was not very attentive and did not get me out of bed to walk or give me the tri-flo to breathe into. This lead to sticking lungs and breathing problems. When I was readmitted after breathing issues developed, I was not on IV, so I walked around and took care of myself. I felt when I was dependent 100% on their care, it was mediocre. Everyone was nice. I think better hand washing procedures are necessary. Understanding accents was a problem at times, but everyone was patient. Overall, I would rate my stay as mediocre."
