A Borrowed Scale.......Tale

Afternoon folks,
I have always had problems weighing myself because most scales don't go past 400lbs. same problem now, I went to the local Weight Watchers office to get weighed.
I don't really want to join but that may be the only weigh to get my weight as the weeks go by. If anyone has a better cheaper suggestion I am all ears.
See ya

Hello Everyone,
It has been 13days and counting since having my VGS. I started on baby/pureed food. I don't have a scale so I have to wait until my next Dr.s appointment to find out how much i weigh. I haven't found any scales that go past 500lbs. so I am stuck. If you have any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Does anyone know what the average monthly weightloss for a VGS is?

Finally!
Aug 05, 2009
In the beginning I was very hesitant about this surgery, because I didn't think that it was needed. At the time I was only about 350 when my doctor first broached the subject. However I had only just recently been diagnosed with hemolytic anemia which they mainly treat with prednisone. talk about weight gain!
Well after 6yrs. 10months, a spleen removal, 5 hospital stays, several transfusions, alot of steroids, 150 or so pounds and two denials later I am finally ready to have this done.
So here goes!
