Totally took me by surprise

Last July after I had lost 50 pounds I decided to get a new driversl liscence. It is really pretty too. I had just had my hair hi-lighted and actually wore make up. Today I forgot my debit card when I was on my way to the gym but i had to get gas. I pulled out my checkbook and wrote the thing out in my truck  and I didn't think any more of it. When i went to the counter I handed the lady my DL and check. She said she couldnt take it? I was waiting for her to laugh or something. When she didnt I said "why not" maybe they had a new no check policy or something. She told me that it wasnt me on the Driver's liscence. Then I laughed and said yes it was. I had to take my hat off and part my hair like it was in the picture. I never thought about my DL pic, my face is way more toned now. The attendent was very apologetic, but I didn't think of it anymore than a compliment. Now if she wouldn't  have taken my check, that might have been another story.
