It has been forever since I have been on here. I am so excited. I finally got my surgery date, and my insurance has approved everything! :) July 19th I will be going under and coming back up and my life will be completely different. This is so exciting, yet my nerves are going everywhere!

Well I got word today from my Weight Loss Rep today that things are on there way. I SHOULD be meeting with my surgeon and scheduling a surgery date by the end of this week, if not early next week. I am only a couple weeks away to start my new life style. :) Please pray and keep me in your thoughts. :)

Ugh... I am getting tired of waiting for my surgery. :( I am now waiting for insurance to approve it (which should be in the next few days to a week-- No later than Friday 2/11). Then I will have my surgery date for sure. It has just been a long drawn out process and I am becoming VERY impatient.  How long does this process usually take???

On Tuesday I went and had my blood work and x-ray done so I can get my clearance on the 2nd. But I keep sitting here and feel like this is going no where. I am becoming so impatient. I just want everything to hurry up and get this show on the road. I know the 2nd is ONLY 6 days away, but 6 days is sooo far. haha. I have been trying to exercise as much as I can with out killing myself so the days pass faster, and I have been trying to do things to keep my mind off of it, but I cant seem to grasp it. I hope that things after the 2nd go smoothly and I can start my new life. :)

Today I went to see my primary care doctor so I can get my referal. He is running all my pre-op blood work and x-rays. I go in the next couple days to get that done. Then on Feb. 2nd I will go see him again to get my clearance and "here we come surgery!"

I am soo excited to have it done. I have been already starting to cut back on food, and sweets, and trying to not drink when I eat and just trying to get myself out of old habits.

I cant wait to see whats in store here in the next couple weeks! :)

On the 19th is my last step. I have to get the EKG and x-ray. I think I have to do some more blood work as well, then when that all comes back they will set up my surgery. Every day I become more nervous! I am excited to have the procedure though. :)

Today I had my nutritional class and I am glad I went. I learned a lot and actually enjoyed myself. I also have decided that the sleeve is my choice... I have done a lot of research and talked to a lot of people and now, I feel VERY confident in my decision. :) I cant wait to start loosing the weight and feeling more healthy. Now I am figuring out where I can buy a food scale and all the proteins I need so I can start training my mind and body. Any one have any suggestions??

I have to choose between Bypass and Lap Band surgery... I have been doing research and I am leaning more towards lap band, but I am not sure if I want a foreign object in me the rest of my life... Does any one have any advice? Can any one help me figure out what may be best for me...? I know YOU cant choose whats best for me, but I need help figuring out what has more success rate. Ugh... What would you do? Or what have you done?
