I am at the paperwork stage pre-op. I am scheduled for my scope in a week, and still have to have the heart and lung tests. I am so excited and hopeful that I am having a hard time waiting for my actual surgery date to be set! I am spending this pre time learning all i can about gastric bypass surgery, aftercare, and diet.  I am a vegetarian and am concerned about the protien requirments. I don't meet with a dietician for a couple of weeks at least. I was hoping for some suggestions so I can start planning my post op life. Any suggestions?
