 So I thought I might as well start a blog and get used to it because I want to document my journey.  I have started choosing my foods better, following the rule of five. I figure I should learn how to make the correct choices for after I have the surgery so although I eat a larger portion now, I am trying to pick the types of foods that I will be eating as a post op.  Of course I know it will be quite a different experience when i am actually there.  I eat a lot of yogurt and I am going to incorporate some protein shakes into my diet as well.  I am going to gradually make the changes so that I don't quit.  I have also drastically reduced my diet pop consumption, and True Lime in water has become my new favorite drink!!  I was a total Coke Zero addict.  I could drink it all day long, but I have decided to limit my pop to 1 or 2 in the evening if I want it at all.  It is a start lol.  I will try to keep up this blog but  I am terrible for sticking with a journal.  I have several half done food journals floating around  but I keep trying and I know it is important for my success personally. I have lost about 6 lbs in the last 2 weeks so that's good.
