Hello, my name is Christina. I live in Clinton Il. I am 31 yrs old, have 2 wonderfull children, Rebecca 10 and John 5. I am currently seperated from my husband but now he is my best friend. He is 14yrs older than me and my second husband. We have formed a great friendship so getting divorced isnt really a priority. I am in a new wonderfull relationship with a very supportive, kind, caring man. I am 5'10 and 309 lbs. I have always been a "big girl" just looking back I havn't always been fat. I don't have high blood preasure yet, don't take insulin yet, but my knees are going out on me and i swear I have had a back ache since I was 12. I have been looking and reading peoples blogs on here for months and for some reason was always to chicken to start my own so today I have done it. I am officially and OH member. 
I got approval on the very first try. My surgery is set for 6/24/08. Exactly 6 weeks from today. I go on 5/31/08 for my sleep study. Then I go on 6/10/08 for my education and see the nurtitionist and start my 2 week liquid diet. Then have all my pre-op testing and see the Dr. one last time on 6/20/08 and have surgery on the 24th. I'm not nervous yet. Things have moved pretty fast for me, I am one of the lucky ones in that sense. I had my first visit with Dr. Oliphant on 3/24/08. So exactly 3 months to get the surgery. I'm looking forward to being on the other side. I want to play with my kids. I need to be healthy and happy for them. The last thing I want for them is to be parents one day and not know how to have fun with their own kids because their mom couldn't have fun with them. I want them to know how. I don't have a computer at home anymore so I do this at work, (have the best job in the world). I don't know when I will ever get any pictures posted on here. I guess thats all for now.
