Like most of you I grew up as the fat kid in class. By the time I was in middle school I was already 160 pounds. I always hated the way I looked, by 9th grade I was 210 pounds and was suffering from depression.
When I started college my friends and I would always go out to eat at Applebee's or McDonald's and my highest weight was 310. I couldn't believe I let myself do that.
In January of 2011 my whole life changed when I attened a weight loss surgery seminar. That very day I cut out soda and bread from my diet and the weight fell off, I joined a gym and the weight fell off faster. Before I even got lap-band surgery on June 3rd I lost 65 pounds. At first it was hard to give up everything, but know the thought of pasta and bread makes me sick.
To anyone who is thinking about getting it done I would say, it's not easy but you have a lot of support and in the end I know it's worth it:)
