Ahhhh....yesterday was a good day.  For the first time since surgery other people commented on my weight loss.  Three different people at work told me how great I look and how the weight seems to be meling off of me.  It is so nice that other people can see the difference now. 

This morning though, I was up .8 lbs since yesterday, so that was a bummber, but all part of the journey I guess.

Well for Cinco De Mayo we had a potuck at the office today.  It was all mexican foods.  I made little taco meat and black bean and cheese "eggrolls" so I would have something safe to eat.  I was very nervous that there would be so many things I can't eat yet, and that I would be tempted to eat things I shouldn't.

 Well other than a few tortilla chips, I did very well.  There were things that I could have, like tortilla soup, black bean soup and avocado devilled eggs.  I was very pleased.  

There were also things I couldn't have like fried ice cream and margarita cake - that made me a little sad for a few minutes,but I got over it and passed those tests with flying colors.  I have not yet tested my pouch with sweets.  

I watched my portions and only ate tiny amounts of food at each meal.
