"I had a consult with Dr. Mast today for plastic surgery. I was very impressed with his knowledge, educating me about the surgery and his compassion. I feel very blessed, that my insurance(Tricare) has chosen Dr. Mast for me to perform the surgery. I am waiting now to get the O.K. from the insurance. This part of his office also impressed me a lot. The lady who does the scheduling was very knowledgable and courteous. She assured me, that she will take care of all the insurance aspects for me. "The hospital was great, the staff was very friendly, the volunteers were very sweet. The nurse and CNA who took care of me the first night were the best. The second day my family was not able to be there until I was discharged, i felt a little left alone, especially with the pain. But it got me moving around on my own, so that's a plus."

"I had my first consult with Dr. Jawad yesterday. He is very knowledgable, caring and takes a lot of time to answer any question you have . In short he is wonderful. I am very impressed with him. I feel it is an incredible blessing to be able to have him as my surgeon. He tries to do the Gastric Bypass Lap, if any way possible. He has dome about 600 lap-RNY and 300 open if I'm not mistaking.
He also does Lap-Band. The patients i have met yesterday are very happy with as well.
His office staff is very kind, Sandra is his Clinical Coordinator. Sandra had her Lap-RNY in December 2002 and looks wonderful. She tries to help wherever she can with you insurance issues.
He frequently speaks at local support group and everybody there totally loved him.
He has a very good aftercare program, he will follow his patients forever.
I would rate him on a scale from 1-10, as at least a 20. I did not even have the surgery yet, but feel so good with him and the way he explained everything. He seems very caring.
