HI, My name is Jaime. I am 24 years old. I am scheduled for a roux-en-y gastric bypass on July 16th. I am very nervous and excited about it. Currently I am on summer break from nursing school. I am hoping the surgery recovery won't be too horrible. I am also hoping this surgery will end my hypertension??? I was diagnosed at age 18. I have pretty much been overweight since about age 14, even though I was very active in sports up into my high school years. I also love being outdoors and living the country life.
