So I met with the surgeon Yesterday.... and I have a date!! I go May 19th for my preop testing.  I have to have blood work, upper GI, Gallbladder ultrasound, and meet with a physical therapist for an exercise routine.  THEN June 8th is the BIG day.  I will start my new life!! only 26 days! 
 
 

I can not believe it is already time for surgery.  It feels like ustyesterday it was MONTHS away.  I go tomorrow for my first pre op apt.  and at that apt I will set up all my pre op testing AND my surgery date!! EEK I am so excited and scared I feel alone but supported at the same time.  It is times like this I really wish my oldest sister lived in Ohio with me.  She had her surgery 5 years ago and I know she will be great support over the phone. She lives in Cali and will not be able to come home or be here for me during surgery. =( Oh well head held high and I am excited (and nervous) to start my journey.
