Its been a little longer then a year now and i'm loving my new life. Sorry its been so long but anyone that knows me knows that now days i cant sit still. No better feeling then being active and not feeling dead at the end of the day. I finally played my first softball game as a team member and it was great. I went 1 for 2 with 1 R.B.I and 1 run. I could never think 2 years ago that this would be possible. At almost 400 pounds i did nothing but sit the bench. Everyone wanted to know why i was so happy at the game. That was my last goal.......Guess its time for some new ones!

Ive been home for a couple nights now. 1 week stay at the hospital was not much fun. I can say that i had some of the best Dr.s and nurses that you could ask for. After emergency surgery wed night, things started looking up. For the first time since Mon morning i had a smile on my face. Even with all the problems and at 1 point almost buying the farm, I still feel like this is the best choice Ive every made. Puree food is as good as you make it. I love the protein drinks. I find that i have to make myself eat. I'M never hungry but i drink like a race horse. Well that's enough for now. talk to you guys soon.

Got my letter saying everything is cleared. Really sinking in now that this is gonna happen. Fear is starting to take over.
