"INITIAL CONSULTATION: Both my Mother and I loved Dr. Freeman.
FIVE WEEKS POST OP: I wanted to add some additional comments concerning Dr. Freeman and his staff.
First, let me begin by saying Dr. Freeman's staff is first class. When I arrive at his office, the staff acts like they were just waiting to see me. When I had to call because I was experiencing nausea, Joyce (his nurse) was very understanding and quickly called in something to help me.
As for Tim, Dr. Freeman's assistant, he is the best--top notch. He has a great bedside manner while you are in the hospital and when I went for my first follow-up visit, Tim was kind and took time to talk to me about my progress and answer my questions.
Dr. Freeman is one of the kindest, most caring physicians I have ever met. He loves his work, loves the fact he is helping others lose weight, and he loves his patients. Having had the surgery himself, he understands what a patient is going through--another plus.
Dr. Freeman was as kind and helpful to my Mother also and put her mind at ease about me having the surgery. Mom was concerned because she had heard just negative things about the surgery. Mom stayed with me while I was in the hospital. Never once did Dr. Freeman or Tim fail to ask Mom how she was doing and they took the time to listen when she would respond. Also, any time I have seen Tim or Dr. Freeman after the surgery, they have never failed to ask about her.
I would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Freeman and his staff to anyone considering having the surgery. "
