TOdy is the 1 week anniversary of my surgery. I feel good & so far am down 24 lbs. I am however tired of clear liquids and having a hard time getting them down. I don't think I have ever wanted to have a yogurt so bad in my life!
 The incisions are feeling good and there is some bruising but, feeling pretty good otherwise.

This morning I walked my kids 4 blocks each way to school to drop them off. I will do it again this afternoon to pick them up. They are Happy to have Mommy home. I just feel bad for them. I can't do A LOT just yet but...Give it a few months and THEY are going to be chasing ME around instead of the other way around!

I didn't take a drink with me when my friend ran some errands with me today. I did start to get a little woozy and so I ate sugar free Ice pop and it see me to help. Never got nauseous or dizzy but, felt a bit off. Now I know...NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT A BEVERAGE! Lesson Learned!

Ok, so on Monday the 28th of November I had VSG done with Dr. Neff @ Kennedy Health Systems in Stratford, NJ! He and the rest of the staff who attended to me there were AMAZING!
I came thru it all with no major issues and managed to get my 20 laps in around the surgical floor between Monday night and Tuesday night when I was released!
Since I am home I am doing very well. I weighed in this morning and I am down 22lbs. I am loving this! I am however getting a little bored of the CLEAR LIQUIDS! I am ready to move on to the next phase & can't wait to be pushed forward!
Following the rules and even cooked for the family this morning. I enjoyed my sugar free ice pop while they enjoyed cheesey sweet potato pancakes & taylor ham with Cheese omelets! Well, at least they smelled good! 
I will keep updating as I progress. So happy to be where I am! It is a long road but, with deermination and pride, I will push forward! Off to Shop Rite to get some stuff for the house with hubby & the kids! Enjoy the day everyone!
