Hi Janice, I hope you are recovering well, and congradulations on your surgery.:o) I am wanting to have this surgery soon also. Im going to my first visit next Friday, and am looking forward to getting things going as soon as I can. I hope you are feeling much better. I was wondering how long it takes to be able to eat solids, and wondering if theres any pain in stomach while healing and trying to eat, ect. I seen you lost 14 lbs the first week? that is remarkable! Just great. i know you are recovering and dont want to take up too much of your time, but anything you could tell me would be so helpfull. Good for you! It gets better everyday. I had mine one week before you and pain is now minimal! Best of luck!

Hi THis is Janice, I'm doing well. It has been rough getting in my fluids and protein;still not where I should be but getting better. Discomfort gets better every day. I've lost 14 1/2 lbs and I'm one week out. I try to keep my profile updated if you want to check it out. Thanks for the support.

Janice, Congratulations on your *new* rebirthday! I can't believe we have so much in common. My husband's name is Mark and we have 2 sons, Chris and Mark, Jr. and I also have UHC Choice +. Too funny! Hi Janice!!! :) Congratulations on your second birthday coming up SOON! :) This can be a time of feeling like you are on an emotional roller coaster, but rest assured this is all normal and you will do great! :) We are all here for you! :) The post op time doesn't last forever and before you know it, you are done with that too! :) GOOD LUCK! Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I went back to work early because I felt so good. I hope your experience is as positive!
