Well, I just have to thank all of my many friends who have been with me all the way on my trip. I am now 2 1/2 weeks post-op, down 25# and feeling great. God Bless

Stephanie has been released from the hospital. She was a bit surprised how tired she felt from the short trip over to the hotel, but is comfortable now. She will hang out in Spokane until Monday, when she gets a check-up and then it's home to rest and mend. Her son and his family is staying with her and has been a great help and comfort to her. Unless there's a complication, I think the next posting you read will be from Stephanie! YEA!!!!

The NG is gone! The NG is gone!!! Stephanie is doing well. She was a bit headachy for a couple of days, she couldn't discern whether it was the NG or crashing caffeine levels :) She passed the 'leak test' with flying colors and was promoted to tea yesterday. If all goes well she will be discharged today but was requested not to leave town for a day or two....I think she mentioned getting a perscription for room service ;) She remains in good spirits, pleased with how things are going and sends many thank you-s for all your support.

Stephanie is doing well. She was up 'doing laps' this afternoon and very pleased. She reports being fairly comfortable and loving the Bari-bed. Tomorrow is the 'leak test' and she's looking forward to trying something besides oral swabs and anxious to see how things are healing. Her sense of humor remains intact..she mentioned something about the nurses giving her a fan and cheap thrills..........I'm confident she's mending well :) God bless everyone of you that has been so supportive of her for the past couple of months. She truly appreciates your kindness and support.

Update on Stephanie. surgery went well this morning. She had several gall stones that they removed while roaming around in her tummy. She called after landing in her room from recovery, sounded chipper and her sense of humor intact :) Your continued prayers and support mean the world to her...thank you so much! ~ the angel

Stephanie has been a bit restless the past couple of days. She is in Spokane tonight, with her son along for support. She called tonight, sounds restless and excited and said it still seems sureal. It often seems like that when dreams come true,doesn't it? Please include Stephanie in your prayers tonight.
