New Dress needed

I needed to buy a new dress, I wasn't sure what I was going to do.
I needed a dresss for work for an upcoming meeting that my work was hosting. I was near a dress barn and was able to get one after trying on about 12 dress and finally picked on that I liked. I started the weight loss journey at 5x and I was able to get the dress in a 24.

I am now able to cross my legs. My Younger sister was commenting on it.
Down 100 Pounds since the start of surgery

I got on the scale today and I noticed that I weighed 274 and I started at 374. I couldn't believe that I am down 100 pounds since November 15. This surgery has made me able to breathe easier since I have an asthmatic condition.
Another Wow moment for me.

This weekend my grandmother and I went to Applebees for dinner, and the only seats they had available were a booth and I was able to fit in it comfortably. I was able to go shopping in a Kohls and was able to buy short sleeve sweaters in a 2x. I started in a 5x and now I am in a 2x. I am so happy that I had this operation.
Visit to my PCP since Surgery

My 16 year old was going to go to my Primary Care Physician, he was the one that I talked to first about having WLS surgery. I went with my son, but my son didn't go, but I still went with my grandmother because she also goes to the same doctor. He hadn't seen me for so long, he was quite surprise at how I look. He couldn't believe it when I told him I lost 83 pounds. His last words were to keep it up and you look Wonderful, Kathleen, that made my day.
Big Wow to report since surgery -

I had a big wow today. Unfortunately there was an accident and my grandmother was driving me to my support group meeting and because of the accident, she wanted to go back home without me going to my meeting. But I really needed to go to my support group, so I ended up walking 2 or 3 miles to get to the meeting. I would not have been able to do it before because I am asthmatic.
BMI Calculator

I checked my BMI on the BMI Calculator and it said that I am extremely obese and not super obese. I started this journey of WLS at a BMI of 62.2 and Now I am 46.9
3rd Month Appointment with the Physician's Assistant

I had my 3 month check up with the Physician Assistant at my Surgeon's office (Carissa). We went over the blood work and she said that everything was fine, but for some reason, the beta caraton had to be redone, since the person in the lab didn't do that test or messed it up. So I have to go and get that blook test taken. Other than that I am doing good she said. I went back to the lab to take the blood test on 2/21/06
2 Month Appointment with Surgeon

I have to get blood taken to see how I am doing since I had this surgery on November 15. I had to get 6 vials of blood taken. Every time in the past when I have had to have blood taken, they can't find the vein so they have to keep trying.
