Jeanine - It was wonderful to see you on the boards. I'm sorry you have been sick but glad that they were able to detect the problem and you are on your way to better health. We will surely miss you on the cruise. I do appreciate all your hard work putting the cruise together for us. Take care.

Jeanine, Know that you are in my prayers! You were 1 yr out of wls last May, just as I was going under the knife! Your half the women you were! I know your having health problems not related to wls, Please take care of your self and keep in touch with your wls friends! You are in our thoughts and prayers! Lov Cyndi

God Bless you hon, That is wonderful news, NO CANCER. And Best of luck to you on trying to have a baby. I have a wonderful name for a girl. LOL I vote for **Savannah** I have a daughter and her name is Savannah, Im so glad I picked it for her, cause it has brung her many friends and have made her very popular. Every one knows her and have good things to say about her. I really think folks likes to say her name. LOL You take care hon and best of luck~*~Hugs~*~

OMG Jeanine... Thank you SOOOO much for responding to my post regarding 'what will I do when I want to eat...' You said EXACTLLY what I needed to hear... Thank you, Thank you... Thank you... I've gotten a few responses but I must say that yours is the one that make sthe most sense to me... Congratulations on your WLS success... I hope to be joining you soon.

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY.....I cannot believe how FAST this time has gone by! What a difference 1 year makes after WLS! I am at GOAL weight...had my tummy tuck...and feeling pretty darn good about myself! I went from 266 to 146...my BMI is now 23.6 when it was 42.something before. I am literally almost HALF the person I was....but DOUBLE the person in heart & soul!! LOL. I am loving and LIVING life....and enjoying every single minute of it! <p> Tomorrow I am throwing a HUGE party for myself...and for all my WLS friends here in NY. It is a way for me to celebrate my successes with my WLS friends who also have so much to celebrate too! I rented out the social hall at my local fire dept....had hot/cold food catered in (because there is not only WLS'ers coming..so we need REAL food for the "normal" eaters! lol) We have music, karaoke....and 2 prize raffles going off. THe night should be full of laughing, dancing, celebrating....and spending time with the people I care about. I am looking forward to meeting quite a few people that I normally only talk to online...and now will meet in person! I am also honored that my surgeon and his wife will be attending my party! I JUST LOVE THIS MAN! He is the most down to earth, sincere and caring surgeon I have ever met! He is taking his "OFF" time to come to my party and celebrate with me....that means something to me....that shows me the type of doctor he is....he TRULY cares about each and everyone of his patients! I cant say enough good things about him! <p> So...I leave you with this thought...."Everyone of us can achieve our goals in life if you put your mind to it....and never give up hope! Never give up on yourself....and never forget where it is that you came from when you do achieve those goals! I may be at goal weight...but I will always be OBESE at heart. I will never forget the pain and humiliation I suffered as an obese person...and just because I am thin now...does not make me any better then you. I remember what it feels like all too well, and I will NEVER let myself forget that." We are all in this together...and no matter whether we are pre-op, post op....or whatever...we still have walked in each other's shoes...and only WE can understand what it feels like! (((((HUGS))))) to you all! <p> "THE FUTURE'S SO BRIGHT....I GOTTA WEAR SHADES!"
