I know its been a real long time since I posted, I've been real busy. First of all let me start by saying I am only about 2mo. out and I already am 53.3 lbs. lighter it is great. I had my surgery on 7/19/07. No complications nothing, was up walkin around that night. I just been real busy I went back to work at 2 1/2 wks out. Then on 8/20/07, I went back to college. So I am real worn out right bout now. But it is all worth it.

I am so excited. My surgery date is very close. I had my preop yesterday everything went good. They think things will be good. I hope and I just can't wait to start my new life.

I just found out we are looking at a surgery date of 7/19/07. That is great!  I can't wait. I am just a little overwelmed because I also found out last week that I will be starting school 8/20/07. I was suppose to start in fall of 2008. But I moved up on the waiting list farther than they thought. I cannot postpone school because it is in the medical field and the waiting list is too long. So I hope everything goes good and I feel ok to start school. So I'm basically starting a whole new life. I can't wait and I know it will be better.

After my insurance co. denied me, we put in an appeal. I got a letter and the mail today APROVING it. Things are good. It has been a 2 1/2 yr journey to this. 

Feeling very angry and discuraged today. Called my insurance company today and they told me I was denied. They first stated that  I didn't have enough documented attemped weight loss. I said to them I've been seeing a dietician for 2yrs. They were like oh. Then relooked at it and stated they didn't recieve my pysch eval. So I contacted Mary at Dr Kemmerling's office who is so nice and she contacted the insurance company and they are having it relooked at and advised me to not give up and that we will keep fighting. But it is very hard and scary now I just hope everything will go good.

ahhh! it's been over a wk and a half and my insurance company has not made a decision yet. it has been to the auth department then to a nurse and now to a dr for review. i hope that is good news. i am very anxious and nervous....
