I have been on my own WLS journey for a very short time. In June, I decided that I am done with the empty promises of so many of the weight loss programs out there and WLS is for me.
Dr. Dent at the Weight Management Clinic helped me to access OHIP approval for out of country surgery. He also directed me to this forum for support. I will be seeing Dr. Graber in August for my RNY consult.
I am surprised with how quickly this is all happening. OHIP responded with approval in just 2 days! I have been reading and reading about WLS and all that it entails. I am certain that I have made the right decision and this will help me to make positive changes in my life.
