Where to begin? Today is Saturday March 19th and so far this month has been filled with a weight loss seminar, initial appt. with the surgeon, dietician appointment...oh and the psych. evaluation was completed a few days ago. (I am officially not crazy, this was reassuring)This week I will have a sleep apnea consult, attend a support group, EGD, and another appointment with the dietician.I am really hoping to have a mid April surgery date and trying to get everything taken care of as fast as I can. Oh.....AND....I have quit smoking. I am so proud of myself for this...I didn't know if I was ever going to be able to quit......but so far, so good....all by the grace of God....and my awesome husband...oh...and some amazing supportive friends and co-workers!
I am so excited to get "this show on the road". Although it seems like a lot to take care of, I know it will all be worth it. Hoping to post an official surgery date this week.
Hope to start writing more and bloggin about this whole journey.
