I have been having a really good year.  I am offically down 110 pounds.  I went to my one year post opt appt. and my doctor told me he wanted me to be a spokes woman for everything done right.  He asked me to advertise for him.  My weight is hanging around 175 lbs Im happy with being down so much can't believe it has been a year all ready.  I am so happy with the results.  My labs came back excellent he told me to remember to focus on my protein.  I am so ready for the next steps of my life with my babies.  I really wish I could lose about 10 more pounds before next month don't know if that realistic or not but will try.  I will just tell everybody that is considering having the surgery is follow what your doctor says they have your best interest in mind. Just remeber to focus on you and keeping your body in the best shape possible and just remeber to focus on your protein.

I am now currently eleven months post gastric bypass.  I have lost a lot of weight and inches so excited almost time for us to start ivf.  This has been a very wonderful journey and I am ready for the next chapter in my life.  I still don't do things like eat and drink together and then when i try i remember why i shouldnt. I am down to about 176 lbs now slowly but surely have not met my own personal goal of where i wanted to be at this far along but am pleased none the less.  I wish I had more time in the day to excercise more.  I am in sizes I never thought I would see again some 8s mostly 10s very happy about that all my clothes fit so good on me I wish I could just lose more of my arms and stomach seems to be where i carry most of my weight.  Happy will post more later

Hello again I am down to 188 still looking and feeling very well.  I am at 188lbs steady losing inches I am in 10/12 no more size 14 that is just great.  I have not notice any hair loss wondering if I will ever  see any hopefully not any keep finger crossed.  I have been at some what of a stand still for months have to tell my self stop being so concern with scale but how i feel and how clothes fit. Nothing much have been happening in my life wait i forgot about our trip to miami I have been trying to post some pictures have not been successful yet anyways we celebrated our 12 anniversary it was great love my husband so much so thankful i have such sweet,cariing, and considerate man can not wait til the babies come i know i love will grow even more i will be calling my fertility specialist next week to get the prelimary test done so we can get started  in march talk to you later enjoy life

It has been a while since I made a post.  No problems yet my hair seems to have stayed in tact so far so good.  Just had to bury my grandma or mama which ever we called her.  She was the greatest woman I knew other than my mom.   We all gather togther over her house this past week.  I sware the house was alot bigger when we were smaller.  Out of her and my papa came 10 kids, 35 grandkids and 45 great-grand I wonderful out pour of love they had for all of us. I will miss them forever.  I am almost 7 months out down 91 pounds since I have started this journey.  I weigh in at a whooping 194 that is just amazing for me not quit at 100 pounds down yet but I will take 91 less.  I can not believe I am still looking at the same person very scary and excited all at the same time.  My husband is very supported in my weight loss love seeing me try on new clothes and saying in a few months I won't be able to wear this anymore so funny.  I have enjoyed every minute of every day I am allowed to become healthier and health conscience.  Thanks for listening to me babble

I am about  3weeks until Ihave my 6 month check up everything have been going  well.  I have had no problems so far can not wait to see what my  6 months labs  say.  I only have 63 more pounds to reach my personal goal and only 18 pounds from the goal my doctor made for me at 170.  I want to get down to 135 before I try to get pregnat in March of  next hyear I will be a year out then.

Hello My name is Efia I am not a mother yet, but a wife.  I started this journey at 285 lbs now I am at 200 5 months post opt surgery. I am not the normal weight loss patients. My weight is not coming off that much I have months when I just lose about 5 pounds a month.  I guess I need to try more water.  I am so excited my goal is to lose 100 pounds before my 6 month check up but not sure if that is feesable or not.  That is my goal I started wearing size 20 and 22 now I am in some 12 mostly 14.  I love the way my clothes look on me.   People have been giving me so much stuff so supported.  My husband is so funny tell me he did not realize my size until I show him pictures of me before the surgery don't even look like the same person.  I weighed 140 pounds when I got married 12 and half years ago that is my goal is to get under that weight before I try for my triplets.  Yes plan to do ivf again (failed on first attempt) in March that would be a year weight should have stabalize by then.  My next goal is to put before and after pictures up soon
